I've been using the free version since it first came out,not to mention it has blocked many worms/trojans/viruses as I surf the internet.

updates automatically or manually tho usually 2 to 3 days in between,but hey it's free and works well for this wayward internet surfer.

I'm suprized no one has reviewed this most excellant program?
When I first install any winDOwS operating system this program is not far behind as it locates "malware/spyware" before you even access the internet,imagine that?!?

It seems every newer version just keeps getting better even for those not in the know this program holds your hand to install & configure.

You just have to download it and run it to begin.

I did a clen install using 98lite option "sleek" and updated IE browser to 5.5 also installed vb5sp3 and vb6sp5 runtime files including most windows updates minus media player 9,but using media player 9 codecs also I installed directX 8.1.

Then I used/installed this great file download!

This win98se service pack is well worth the download/install with only one drawback I noticed via my system.ini file under the heading
[vcache] which I edited both Min/MaxFileCache to be 2048
