This used to be an excellent package. But since it's turned from good ole freeware into adware, I don't have anything but bad to say about it now. I guess Mr. Windows X has gotten a little greedy, lol.

The best resource editor I've ever used! The C/C code generation is wonderful. BTW, get the up-to-date version at http://www.resedit.net.

This line counter is inaccurate too (I also reviewed Code Counter Pro). In a C source file, it failed to detect 107 comment lines, and 20 mixed lines. MAKE SURE YOUR SOFTWARE WORKS BEFORE SELLING IT. Both Code Counter Pro and Practiline Source Code Line Counter gave totally different results. If they all give different results, which one is correct?

I'm not about to buy an inaccurate piece of software. BTW, the nag screens are terrible in the trial version of this program.

It just isn't accurate. In my opinion, $25 for this program is way too steep. I've taken the 30-day trial to the edge. I've done manual counts of numerous source files in different languages, and I can tell you, there are many problems with the counting. One source file was reported by to have 7 comments when in reality there were 12. Beware what you're BUYING.

This media player is awesome. It is very low on resources (3MB RAM, 1%-2% CPU usage) and does not use any skins, which I think is great because you can use the resources that are normally taken up by the skins to do other tasks.

The only problems I have are these: You cannot add multiple files at once to a playist. Also this player can play .wav files fine, but in order to play them, you have to use the *.wav wildcard to get them to show up in the Import File dialog.

It would be nice if a master playist could be implemented like in WMP11 that automatically loads when WMP11 is started.

Since it's GPL, I could add/fix all of that myself.

"akLineCounter has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The crash occurred right after a balloon popped up telling me my Virtual Memory was too low, while "Load 90 of 1417" was displayed.

Excellent program, it's just that I can't use it with Windows Vista to capture the audio with the video. The card is a Phillips 713x.

I tried to compare 2 files that were each about 4.7MB and the program took it's time. I waited about 5 minutes, then had to terminate the program with the Task Manager.

The comparison results could be explained better. For instance "No match" could say "Both files are different" and "100% match" could read "Both files match". Other than that, it's a very easy to use program.
