Thie description is very optimistic about the compatability with other protocols. It will not work with anything other than Jabber out of the box, but it is possible if you set your mind to it to get them to work. I just gave up and went back to gaim. It is a nice Jabber only client though.

It just works every time. For freeware archivers it comes down to this and izarc. The others have potential and look good but are all buggy it seems. The only thing izarc does that this does not is editing files in an archive, really just temp directory, but it does it all automatically. Shell extension is very good. Also, wish it did ace.

If you really need a sparkly skinnable program, use mediamonkey. This program is well made, it can use a local freedb so it tags on my laptop when it isn't connected to the internet (download freedb from freedb.org), and it is great for organizing huge directories of random mp3's into a coherent collection. I have only donated $ to 2 softwares ever, this and azureus. It was that helpful with my big folder of mp3's.
