Just had to give this program its due. I use IOLO's "System Mechanic 7 Pro" and am very satisfied. The new iolo Firewall that comes with it is far superior than the former 3rd part stuff that was in older version of this company's suites. This FW really works well with games and other programs that firewalls usually cause problems with. Try this firewall and I bet your opinion of firewalls as annoying products that don't offer much protection anyway will change. Thanks IOLO for such great software!

Love this AntiVirus! I use IOLO's System Mechanic 7 Pro and it comes with iolo AV as part of its security package. I've been using this company's software for years and have never had a problem. I have to admit, however, that I have a lot of issues with the previously third-party bundled AV/FW technologies by IOLO, but now that they've written their own it is obvious how well it fits into the rest of their line. This AV caught and neutralized over ten viruses and trojans that Kaspersky, Norton, and McAfee had all missed! Plus, it runs really "lightly" without slowing down my laptop. People - give this product a try, you won't be disappointed!

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Great software! This is the core product of the larger "pro" suite, and it is definitely the brains behind the operation. System Mechanic 7 has a hugely improved interface (takes a little while to get used to it, but once you do you will never go back), tons of new features that seem to run more smoothly and effectively than older versions (I've used it since v4), and a lot of thought that's been put into packaging a great deal of power into an easily managable software product. Kudos to IOLO - they have improved on something I believed was unimprovable!

Don't waste time with other utility packs - try the best and forget the rest! I've used SMPro since version 4 and it has always treated me perfectly. I've ventured into other competitors just to see if they were any good and have always returned to IOLO for the best technology and customer service. This product has saved me thousands alone in PC upgrades by keeping my OLD computers running like a Ferrari! One word of caution: Don't install this while other antivirus/antispyware/firewall products are installed. Remove them first and then install SM. It is never a good idea to run more than one security product at the same time (can cause lockups and worse)...
