It offers more ways to RIP a CD than anyone would rightly use :-) It does everything VERY well, with a "clean-cut" toolbar.
Ripping to WMA requires the latest WMA9 Codec download, but that link is provided in the Options selection. Pretty handy, although I wouldn't bother with that format.
For MP3's, it must have a default LAMEC Codec, although I have emailed FairStars to see if one can install the latest LAMEC encoder into the program's folder. This, to improve it.
This I learned from previously using AudioGrabber as my freeware-ripper-of-choice, which "insisted" that lates Codec be installed for higher-quality MP3 conversions. "Funny", that FairStars does NOT require, that, huh? And, still produces EXCELLENT MP3s.
I'm VERY happy with this excellent freeware!! |
