Local Port Scanner is a very old and a very popular network scanner. The GUI is very simple. All functions are in one window and a option dialog. But the style is not really modern. It reminds me on Microsoft(R) Windows(R) 98. The Features are are really poor for a port scanner of such a category. You can't set which port you want to scan first and which will be the last. The scanner is only based on list and is very slow! All other things in the scanner are fair.

I tried this network scanner and I can say it has a really poor interface but the features are really nice! The scanner is very difficult to use.

A nice program, but very difficult to use!

This is a very poor network scanner. You can only choose the most used ports to scan, but no trojan ports or others can be added. My opinion, this program must be rewritten!

Well I think that's a very nice port scanner, better than SuperScan 4.0 or other network scanners. The GUI is very nice and really customizeable. But I did not find how to change the font size as it's written in the program description. This program is faster than every other network scanner like SuperScan or Local Port Scanner and I tested almost all network scanners. This program is really easy to use, but not as it's written in the description text.
