I don't sell Help & Manual (HM). I just use it. And love it.

Just wanted to get that out there.

So, I have used three different help authoring tools over the years and none of them compare to HM for ease of use, features and price.

We even use it internally to create our own help systems for our business. I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it.

If you need to create a help manual and have it in lots of different formats and only edit ONE source - this is the way to go. Hands down.

I've used Responsive Time Logger (RTL) for about 5 years and it's helped my business grow significantly. We are able to keep perfect track of our billable time - and we've been able to both bill more and please our customers by coming in underbudget sometimes - but we still made our profit, of course.

We have a history of our projects which we have instant access to using RTL and we can use it to figure out how much to charge on our fixed-price work.

While the user interface isn't the newest - it still works better than lots of other time tracking products. I work with clients who have others that I have to use and I don't like them as well as RTL. I've converted some of our customers over to RTL as well.

If you're doing hourly or fixed price work for clients - I do recommend this software. They give great customer support - much better than TimeSlips. It cost much less and I've never had it crash.
