A 5 star mark for the Ashampoo firewall is a complete stupidity and you know it Nozavi.

Stability is a must for any firewall and this is one is lacking. Come on... we still have progs that crash?
I hope those marks are not based on the fact that you use OTHER Ashampoo products.

Anyway i think the CORRECT Overall rating is 4 not 5 stars.

I decided to switch Firefox with Opera. After a few hours of using Opera, even with that amazing speed i had(as some one said "It smokes Firefox at starting speed and rendering pages")i decided it's not good enought.
Why?
1. I noticed that compatibility with some sites it's even worse that Firefox's. Google Pages? Nope not today. That is a big minus for me. I use that site alot (btw it works on Firefox)
2. Extensions". If Opera would EVER like to take the crown from FF it must include an addon system that would permit users make usefull utilities. I am so addicted to extensions that i see it as a standard browser feature.
3.Opera's Pop Up Blocker sucks ass as well as the integrated downloader and other "integrated" utilities (Extensions?)

Those are the reason i didn't uninstalled Firefox.

it has some annoying flaws : when you click the inbox from the taskbar menu (the prog is hidden in taskbar) the prog appears for 1-2 seconds on the screen just like a flash. I will stay with gmail notifier

Luck is a thing that no program will ever give it to you. So ...useless..

Good For Radios but not for Dj's. In fact i can rarely say there is a SOFTWARE program out there that is *GOOD* for Dj's without any aditional hardware part. A profi dj needs very fast answers (Latency) and a hardware console to control and make profi mixes. Without a hardware part it's very hard to make a good mix (You can't press / slide 2 buttons at the same time with the mouse in any program)

Back to OtsDJ , it's interface is the one that drags him down. It's still the old non-functional interface. Maybe it's just my hate but it looks like an ancient program. No, i'm not saying a music program "designed for dj's" needs to be eye-candy but this is ridiculous.

As i tested this prog i came to one final conclusion : Not For Dj's but for Radio Stations.
Tthe king in prof. Dj applications still remains MixVibes.

Try emule plus for instance. It ownz this p2p wannabe.

This program sucks ass. I've installed and registered for the Premium Version. After that i encrypted a folder with JPEG files. I tryed to decrypt it but even if the program states that he decrypted the folder the files are still encrypted and renamed.
Should i suggest that clicking on Web Content Filter gives me a critical error and kills the prog.
My advice : Go ahead try the free app but don't expect much. Only the premium version had good options for you to use. But the Premium ...

OO 2 runs SLOWER than Microsoft Office (eats more RAM). How about optimizing the program Sun? An office suite must be designed to work well even on slower systems. When i first started to work in this program I had a feeling of "this program needs more then 512 ram to run at it's best". I was not satisifed of the speed it worked even on my comp ( anthlon 64 3000 , 512 DDRAM)
I would not change MO 2k3 for this. They will have to work more to beat MO. At optimizing the damn program.

All they have done to it is combining all the plugins available on the Audacity open source site , adding that limitation and of course the PRICE. And boy what a price... 26$ for a program they have bassicaly STOLEN!

Foobar had been on my computer for nearly 2 months. After that i deleted it returning back to Winamp. (lite) After the install my first question was : Like where is the goddamn volume bar? Hilarious ...this player doesn't have a volume bar!!!!!
In other way , Foobar is a good and clean player with dozens of configuration options but after spending some time with it and after some troubles (included crashes, block-ups, i decided it's bye bye time. Also i was beggining to hate those preferences Foobar had. Without a logic and just trown there even they are usefull or not for the majority. I don't know why many people said that it doesn't use much memory. On my computer it used 14 mb in playback. As much as Winamp (Lite and classic interface).
Foobar is not better then Winamp! So stop saying : It sounds better , etc because it doesn't.

Internet Download Manager is by far the best download tool out there. It catches almost everything having an inteligent(advanced) browser integration and clipboard monitoring. Also is very easy to set up. There is no such thing as spyware in this program.

I have been using Kaspersky for a long time but after i saw some reviews on the http://anti-virus-software-review.toptenreviews.com i decided to buy a Bitdefender license.(the Bitdefender got first place in a top10 antivirus test) In this review i will concentrate on the antivirus in the package..After installing it and protecting me for over 1 month i must say i'm impressed.It's a Kaspersky killer with over 200.000 virus definitions. 1. After a virus definitions update the program restarts itself ( Where is the Update on the fly guys?!?!) I discussed with an support engineer and he promiced to me that they are hardly working to the "update on the fly" feature.
2.(related somewhat to the first) If the antivirus updates itself when you manualy scan your hdd the scan window will be closed and the scan canceled. (annoying)

A must have tool for anyone that has important data stored on hdd. Very stable and fast backup solution.If you ask: It's far more better then Norton Ghost.
