Now that I've found it. Thanks! However, I'd say this version is pretty outdated. The download link is still alive and I just followed its root and it got me to http://www.helpdesksoftware.com/ site. Guys, it looks like the company is now a part of Scriptlogic. I know these guys are tough players on enterprise management scene. Well, they provide a direct link there at Kemma's site. I followed it and found that Scriptlogic is already offering a completely new version 8 http://scriptlogic.com/products/bridgetrak/ ! I found out that scriptlogic is running a lottery to win a ticket to Teched show http://scriptlogic.com/downloads/ . So I just decided to register there. I tell you what, guys - it wasn’t that frightening and extremely boring to register there as I used to think. You know , I just had experience (and who of us didn't?) filling forms on other sites and it was like they were trying to find out every moment of my private life. I hate it. With Scriptlogic it was quicker than I thought it would take for me. Quicker than filling the form at Digg or Gmail. Who would ever have thought... A few secs more and I got a mail with d/l links in my box. Anyway the thing is - I grabbed the tool and it deployed it on my server box. Looks like the tool has undertaken an slew of enhancements. Well, I haven't tried an old one but the new one seems to have received a sleek new interface and enhanced management and enterprise integration facilities. Personally, I liked the autoescalation module that automatically resolves ticket assignment tasks by redirecting the user help request sent by user via e-mail to the person form the help desk team that can solve the problem the best way. No gotchas! |
