Fair enough, Greatness. I reinstalled Nexus Radio, and this time, my fonts weren't changed (after install and after uninstall). But it did seem to happen the first time I tested it. It's the only thing I installed and played with for half an hour before I decided to use System Restore because of the sudden fonts problem. And since Nexus created a SR point before installation, it's the one I used, and bingo, my fonts went back the way they are supposed to be, in IE and Opera.

Using Nexus Radio, I was still experiencing high memory usage by it (39MB) and CPU spikes up to 25% by Nexus Radio (I checked these figures using CachemanXP). By comparison, the Live365 app only uses 9MB of memory and no CPU spikes at all.

My processor is an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200
2.00 GHz, and I have 1 GB of RAM. My OS is Windows XP. So I don't think I have a bad machine.

I do not give bad reviews to software for the fun of it. I report what I experienced while using the program, and that's all.

I reported exactly how the program behaved and what consequences it had on my PC. I think this app should be re-tested by Softpedia.

A lot of good features (plenty of radio stations to choose from, nice enough interface, comes with an equalizer ...).

But it uses way too much CPU and memory for my taste.

Also, it changed the icons for my mp3 files, and it changed the fonts of web pages I was browsing and started browsing after installing it. I had to use system restore to get back to the original fonts.

So, it does install malware, even if on the site it cleartly states that it doesn't.

After installation, Firefox refused to start, except in Safe Mode. I uninstalled AllPeers and now everything's fine.

The app doesn't work at all. When I try to split a file, it just opens a 404 page in my browser.

Is this a joke ? I installed the program, entered a word to search for, but the search button is all grayed out, so no way to perform a search !

During installation, my PC almost completely froze.
After installation, PC froze again two times in less than 24 hours, and when I finally could stop this program, all was normal again.

So I don't recommend it.
