| Nexus Radio 2 | Reviewer: maupassant
Read all my reviews
Date: 18 Jul 2007, 11:24 GMT Overall rating: | GUI: Features: Ease of use: Value:

Fair enough, Greatness. I reinstalled Nexus Radio, and this time, my fonts weren't changed (after install and after uninstall). But it did seem to happen the first time I tested it. It's the only thing I installed and played with for half an hour before I decided to use System Restore because of the sudden fonts problem. And since Nexus created a SR point before installation, it's the one I used, and bingo, my fonts went back the way they are supposed to be, in IE and Opera.
Using Nexus Radio, I was still experiencing high memory usage by it (39MB) and CPU spikes up to 25% by Nexus Radio (I checked these figures using CachemanXP). By comparison, the Live365 app only uses 9MB of memory and no CPU spikes at all.
My processor is an AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200
2.00 GHz, and I have 1 GB of RAM. My OS is Windows XP. So I don't think I have a bad machine.
I do not give bad reviews to software for the fun of it. I report what I experienced while using the program, and that's all. |
