New week, new game and because it's summer and everything is sunny, it's possible that many of us have the tendency to go to the beach, bathe in the sun or just go for a swim. But in case the weather is not the best ever, feel free to try this game...

Well, this little game we have for you today goes well with the ocean/sea/water scenery, because it takes place in the oceans. It's called "Aqua Pearls" and it is a game in the very well known Zuma style.

The story of the game goes something like this: you have to recover a stolen necklace in order to save the oceans from an evil force(we don't know what kind of evil is that, but anyway... we move on).

You will help a little bubble-like fella, on his name Aquatic (I know, not so inspired), to find the pearls of this magic necklace so that you two can restore peace. Now, if by a strange coincidence you don't know what a Zuma-like game is, then this is the explanation: you have to shoot colored balls to a chain of other colored balls. Match three or more same-color-objects in order to break the chain and finish the puzzle.

So... here we are at the beginning of the game. The first levels are pretty simple, you will stay relaxed in your chair while shooting the colored pearls coming from one way or the other. Meanwhile you get power-ups like "rainbow balls" that will allow you to shoot whatever pearl and break the chain or "aiming pearls" that allow you to have a precise direction of your shot.

Then?there comes the challenge. At one point you'll start a level, where two chains of colored pearls will start and flow to you. You will have to stop both chains. This will be pretty difficult and you'll realize very soon how important the power-ups are.

Here you will need more than "rainbow" and "aiming" pearls. You'll learn that "reverse pearls" are very, very useful. The "reverse pearls" are those who will make the pearl chain go back. This will give you more time to take a breath, not panic and finish the level you started. You will also need "time pearls", which will stop the chain from rolling. These ones here are pretty often to "encounter", so do not despair. In case you will lose and not finish the level, you will start all over again.

After a few levels, you realize that you have started to progress in finding the missing necklace. During the gameplay you will also gain "Stars". These little sea stars will help you at the end of one turn of levels, in order to upgrade your weapon. After the first upgrade, the story changes a bit... Well, I mean the gameplay. You will go back to normal, one-chain gameplay, but with more colored pearls that will roll down faster.

Now do you remember all those power-ups? Good... you'll need all of them. But, the game-play is still enjoyable and not stressful... So have fun with it while you can.

There is only one annoying thing, though: going up in levels, those two chains game-play will come at the end of every row of levels. The difficulty for that will get, of course, higher. At one point it will be pretty impossible to pass a level. Unless you coordinate your moves and shoot very well.

And yes, one more thing... The music was pretty annoying. At one point you'll feel the need to make it stop...

Otherwise the game is a really fun and addictive. The graphics are not the best I've seen in a game like this, but they are... "cute"... Cute enough to not disturb the eye and let you play in peace.

Enjoy!
