Not to say that the program has an interface that will let you sign in for the company services - if you are registered; if not simply register for free on the website with a basic account. That will let you share online photos with your friends and people all over the world from inside the program (after you'll login).
The icon in the system tray will notify you if there are new professional uploads in the online galleries (the site has this service of featuring images from well known photographers of the world); you can also check new uploads from your favorite members when being notified.
Webshots Desktop has a built-in customizable screensaver which can be put to cycle the photos with some exciting transition effects. These effects could be loaded all together or one by one and they have 3 timing selections (long, medium, short). You can also disable the screensaver if it appears annoying or if you like best another one.
A beautiful and very useful part of this software is its calendar, which will be shown on your desktop. Very useful indeed when it comes to remembering the date. The Good This software is very easy to use and has a very large approach towards different types of PC users.
The Bad Although this is a free and useful software, the online basic services have some limitations (like only 5 per day professional photo downloads and others).
