Microsoft’s Ringtone Maker application for Windows 10 Mobile is now available for download in stable version after spending several months in beta stage for testing purposes.

As anyone could easily guess by simply reading the program’s name, Ringtone Maker is an application that allows users to quickly create ringtones using their own songs stored on the phone. On Windows 10 Mobile, this is clearly a welcome addition, especially because this way anyone can customize their ringtones and create their own from their favorite songs.

The app’s interface is quite simple, and using it is a breeze. All you have to do is open the song you want to create the ringtone from, choose the start and the end of the ringtone, cut it, and you are good to go. The minimum length of the ringtone is 1 second.

The ringtone can then be configured for anything you want on your smartphone, including calls, messaging, emails, reminders and alarm clock.

This isn’t a universal app, and it kind of makes sense since nobody needs a ringtone on PCs, so it’s specifically aimed at Windows 10 Mobile users who want to create ringtones easily. Without a doubt, the app can surely come in handy to those who do not want anything else besides basic features, so go download Ringtone Maker for Windows 10 Mobile to see what it’s up to.
