Luckily, specialized software like Volume Coincerge give you the possibility to set computer volume to automatically adjust to your needs.

Installing the application only requires about 2 Mb of free space on your hard disk drive and the amount of system resources is nothing to worry about. It spends most of its time hidden in the system tray so you only need to bring it up when changes are made.

All available features are cleverly stored in a compact and friendly interface. Info text is displayed, as well as an example so you get a glimpse what can be accomplished. Only a few options need to be set, which only take several seconds to adjust.

In order for the application's features to take effect, rules need to be set. With the help of a power button, these can be created and only used on various occasions.

Available features considerably limit it from being used while working, due to the lack of a possibility to have changes reversed automatically. It's only good when you're not sure whether or not you can make it until the end of a movie.
