DVDAux

DVDAux is a lightweight software application designed specifically for helping you rip DVD content to various video formats or copy DVD files on your disk.

The GUI looks clean and easy to work with. You can load data from a DVD or manually import the information from a DVD folder stored on your computer.

There’s no support for a built-in player as the tool shows only a thumbnail preview of the video. It displays information about the title, duration, PAL or NTSC color encoding system, and frame rate. Cutting videos can also be done by specifying the start and end time.

DVDAux offers you the option to rip DVD data and convert it to different file formats. The tool makes use of several categories for helping you pick the right file format, namely Apple iPod, Apple iPhone, Apple TV, Sony PSP, Sony PS3, Sony Walkman, Mobile Phone, BlackBerry, and Nokia. The ripping task may take some time but this pretty much depends on the size of the video. A progress bar is shown during the copying process. At the end of the task, you can make the program open the saving directory.

Tests have shown that the converted video files have very good output quality. The tool remains friendly with your system resources, so the overall performance of your computer is not affected.

Several audio and video settings can be tweaked. You may adjust the video streams in terms of codec, size, bitrate, and FPS, while the audio streams can be altered by specifying the codec, bitrate, sample rate, and channel. You may also choose the saving directory.
