If you ever wanted to have a clock on your desktop that doesn't sit close to your tray, then you'll be happy to know that there are solutions just for you. The more customizable, the better, as you can really get in there and personalize its look to your heart's content, which isn't the case for the default Windows clock.

A customizable digital clock would then be a nice change of pace. If it's also freely resizable, has some alarm and chime functionalities, and can be placed anywhere, then it's a most intriguing option. That's essentially what Harmony is: a digital desktop clock that can take on the form and look you desire.

Though it may look rather muted at first, the clock's entire look can be modified to your liking. The settings allow for a lot of freedom when it comes to customization: the options to customize the face color are numerous, and it's up to you to experiment with different color and shading combinations to see what comes of it.

Besides the looks, chimes of all sorts are available under the Chimes menu: bells and melodies that can trigger at 15-minute intervals await you. To complement this, alarms can be set for anything of importance. Reminders, too, can be introduced, and your text will be displayed on the clock's interface.

Different color schemes are accessible under Color, and these work to modify the look of the interface. Choose the one you like, and head over to the Frame menu, where you'll be able to choose from a variety of styles, whose sizes and sparkles can be personalized.

If you're not a fan of the default font, you have the option to change it. A series of fonts is available, but you can always choose a custom one from your machine. Some additional options, such as anti-aliasing, feathering, and size can also change the aspect of your text.

Once you're happy with your configuration, it's time to let the clock start ticking. You can resize it and place it wherever you want, so you'll know where to look when it's time.
