A quick Google search will reveal dozens of so-called productivity hacks, however, none are so popular than the Pomodoro technique, and for good reason, as it's arguably one of the most minimalist yet also efficient of the lot.

That said, if you're looking for a Pomodoro application for your computer, especially a very customizable one, then you might want to check out Pomotroid.

Right off the bat, we're going to say that the main selling points of this application are its good looks and its highly customizable timers. More to the point, this is one Pomodoro app that allows you to define the typically fixed work sessions of 25 minutes anywhere between one and sixty minutes via easy-to-use sliders.

The same goes for the short and long break periods, as they too can be tweaked between one and sixty minutes and, better yet, you're also provided with the option of selecting between one and 12 rounds per project.

Other than that, the app is as simple as most other similar utilities, with a compact main window and a modern-looking, gray-themed GUI that displays the timers and the number of rounds in a clear-cut fashion. There are a few buttons as well: one button in the middle for starting and pausing the sessions, one for skipping them, and one button for muting the app's sounds.

Taking everything into account, Pomotroid is definitely a very good application of this sort, for all the aforementioned reasons. It looks right, it's very user-friendly, and it works as expected by allowing you to define everything from work and break sessions to the number of employed rounds.

Sure, one might argue that taskbar integration would have been quite nice to have and, sure, we won't disagree especially considering the fact that most apps of this sort have it. However, this should be by no means be a deal-breaker as we have mentioned before, this is a very good Pomodoro app that's well worth your attention.
