Social Networking platforms have been with us for a while now, and they don't seem to show any sign of stopping anytime soon, as they allow people near and far to stay in touch with each other. VK App is a neat store app designed to bring VK to your PC in a neat little desktop-specific package.

While not as well known or used throughout the world, VK is especially popular in the eastern parts of Europe, holding in some countries an even greater share than media giants such as Facebook. This app is designed to bring to your desktop almost all the functionalities that the web version of VK offers, sparing you the hassle of logging in via your web browser. VK App lets you do pretty much everything that the regular version of VK (or any other social networking platform) can do. This includes sharing and viewing content such as songs, pictures, and videos.

Logging into this app is done in the same manner as with the browser version, either via email or phone number. This is also where you encounter the first layer of security, as you need a multi-step authentification process to log in to your account. Unfortunately, one of the limitations of this app is a pretty big one considering the whole purpose of VK: you cannot use the app to chat with your friends. To do this, you have to download another app made by the same developer, created solely for that purpose, which is a bit of a hassle considering how they could have easily made just one app.

VK App brings almost all the functions of the browser version onto your desktop, only that this time it is in a more modern looking Windows 10-style design, making it a great addition to any VK user's digital library.
