Nativefier-gui

Nativefier-gui is an open source graphical interface for nativefier, a lightweight CLI utility that enables you to create wrappers for web applications with just one click. Generally speaking, wrappers can come in handy for anyone who prefers using desktop clients for web apps they use frequently.

Although not portable, the tool does not involve a complicated setup of configuration. In fact, you can simply decompress the archive in the desired location and you can immediately start creating your desktop clients. The interface consists of a user-friendly window where you simply need to specify a name and the URL of the web app that needs the wrap.

Creating the desktop client also entails assigning a folder that can be anywhere is convenient for you. The wrapper is created rather quickly along with all necessary files needed for a smooth functionality.

It is worth mentioning that the tool does not need dependencies and this includes the original app. Unlike nativefier, you do not have to work with commands and the entire process is completed fast and without any issues.

The application features a menu where you can access various editing commands, namely copy, paste, delete, cut, unde, redo and select all. While for the time being it is hard to figure out their purpose, perhaps it is related to features the developer plans to add in the future. The utility also includes some viewing options that allow you to zoom in, zoom out, reload or toggle the developer tools.
