Teleparty is a server-client Chrome extension that synchronizes video playback on multiple computers. In a few words, you can play, pause or control the playback state and position of your Netflix videos while being reassured that the video is synchronized at the other end. Additional platforms are supported, such as HBO, Hulu, or Disney Plus.

Of course, in order to take advantage of Teleparty, you need to make sure that Google Chrome is installed on your computer and you have a valid streaming  account. Once you have logged-in using your credentials, you can effortlessly create new sessions or join already existing ones by clicking the extension button.

Working with Teleparty is as simple as you can imagine, with you only having to share the Session ID with your friend or join an already existing session with the provided ID, depending on who is hosting the session.

Sure, seeking or adjusting the playback position might be preceded by a couple of seconds of buffering time, but that is hardly an inconvenience considering the result.
