WoTerm is a lightweight utility designed to act as a remote control software that enables you to connect to other computers and servers. The program comes with support for various protocols, namely SSH1, SSH2, Telnet, SFTP and rlogin. All created connections are saved and can be easily viewed by accessing the List button.

As with other remote control tools, accessing a computer remotely entails you have a host app installed on your computer, where you insert the credentials and specify the parameters. When creating a new connection, you need to specify the type, name, host and port, login name, login type, proxy jump, in case you use proxy servers, command and a memo. It goes without saying that you solely need to fill in the first few and leave some of these fields blank.

The tool allows you to customize the buffer size of the scroll buffer so that it contains a predetermined number of lines. At the same time, you can customize its appearance, so you can easily notice any type of events that may be of interest. You can select between four schemas – Github, Ubuntu, Pandora and IC_Orange_PPL –, customize the size and style of the font as well as select a cursor (Ibeam, Underline or Block).
