MP3 to AAC Converter

MP3 to AAC Converter is a simple-to-use program that enables you to transform MP3 files into AAC-formatted items, as the name implies.

It comes packed with a few settings for advanced users that can be configured with ease, but also integrates a preset profile for those less experienced in video conversion software.

The interface is made from a regular window with a simple layout. It is not visually appealing but comfortable to work with. Files can be added to the list using the file browser only, since the drag-and-drop function is not supported.

Unfortunately, batch processing is unsupported in the free edition of MP3 to AAC Converter, so you can convert only one item at a time.

The file list shows the status, time, size, source and output directory, along with the percentage completion and length of the video. All you have to do is specify the output directory and proceed with the encoding process. The tool is able to send an automatic shutdown signal to the computer on task completion.

Advanced users may skip the preset profile and select their own audio quality, sample rate, channel mode and codec. Plus, you can remove an entry from the list or clear the entire queue, as well as cancel the task.

MP3 to AAC Converter supports several themes for the interface and includes a help file for those less experienced in video conversion tools. We have not come across any issues in our tests, since the app did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.

Although it is not particularly resourceful, MP3 to AAC Converter gets a conversion job done quickly and delivers quality audio.
