@MAX Tray Player is a lightweight media player that integrates into the taskbar, allowing you to easily trigger controls. Basically, you can play, pause and stop audio and video items quickly and with minimum effort from any working environment.

Once initialized, @MAX Tray Player builds the player into the taskbar, right between the Start button and Quick Shortcuts. The interface is familiar to the one of Winamp, so you shouldn't have any navigation issues.

Loading audio and video into the player is done with the help of the file browser or "drag and drop" function. You can also specify a default folder to automatically play music from, as well as set @MAX Tray Player to automatically play items from audio CDs.

Dozens of options can be customized for this tool. You can create playlists and allow duplicates, set bookmarks, sort items by various criteria (e.g. file path, name, bit rate), as well as move the built-in taskbar window to another spot.

You can choose what controls to show in the taskbar, adjust the frame's opacity, use FreeDB for audio CDs, configure an equalizer, as well as make the tool run at system startup automatically and minimize to the system tray.
