This said, getting to grips with the player's workflow is not difficult since the toolbar with the control buttons is located on the bottom part of the main window and, except the top toolbar, there are no more menus and features on display.

New playlists are effortlessly created with a simple click and your tracks can be loaded via drag and drop in mere seconds. The things that you should know are that it supports MP3, OGG, FLAC and some other audio files, CUE sheets, last.fm scrobbling and asynchronous outbound streaming.

Despite its humble looks, Tauon Music Box keeps all its other features hidden in its contextual menus and the drop down menu, easily accessible from the top toolbar. From the Stats/Config menu, you can customize the app's interface and behavior to a decent extent.

Also worth mentioning is the fact that the utility displays album art quite nicely and that it also comes with a few UI themes.
