Portrait+

Portraits may not always resemble the real appearance of a person. Luckily, there are various specialized applications, such as Portrait+ that give you the possibility to load any picture of yourself or others and apply different enhancements to hide certain imperfections.

From the start, you are required either to load a single file you want to process or the content of a folder. The application is fitted with a tool that automatically detects whether or not the given picture is a portrait, warning you when a face is not detected in an image.

Unfortunately, you are not able to bypass this function, with no choice but to disregard rejected pictures. However, for those that get accepted, you are able to view and adjust face key points, in case you consider the application failed to correctly identify.

The process itself is pretty quick and simple. A side panel puts several preset effects at your disposal, which range from different smoothing levels to combining multiple options.

You are free to ignore presets and carefully adjust several sliders corresponding to different enhancement options. To clearly view differences, an implemented function splits the workspace into two sections to display before and after effects.

Loading a picture with multiple people is not a problem, as each face can be locked so it does not get accidentally modified. All detected portraits from a picture are displayed in a list, clicking on one zooming in on it for a better view.

Portrait+ is a practical solution to enhance any picture you consider does not resemble the true beauty of yourself of someone else. The process itself is done in the blink of an eye with the help of the available presets, but you can also dedicate some time to manually adjust each effect.
