Bulk Image Editor

Photo EXIF tags store information that can be very helpful, but it may sometimes be necessary to edit this data, and processing each file individually is, of course, very time-consuming. Fortunately, you can rely on utilities designed to save you both time and effort.

Bulk Image Editor is a relatively simple tool that, although in the early stages of development, can prove to be quite useful. It enables you to correct image orientation and edit various EXIF parameters, and it can process large numbers of files at once.

When you unpack the archive, you will see that two executable files are available. One version of the application needs to be used from the command console, while the other comes with a basic GUI.

No installation is required, so the program is very easy to deploy. However, no documentation is yet available to help users with the command-line utility, so you have to rely on the GUI version for now.

Before importing any files, you need to select which parameters should be modified. When you are done, you can load the images, but keep in mind that the original files will be overwritten.

It is possible to rotate images based on the orientation info included in the EXIF tag, adjust the capture time, change the geotag and even set the DPI value written in the metadata.

It is clear that Bulk Image Editor is still in the early stages of development, but it works well enough even in its current state. However, the user interface is rudimentary, at best, and the program offers a limited feature set. Moreover, no documentation is available to help users with the CLI tool.
