Screen Grab Pro

Screen Grab Pro is a small software that allows you to capture the entire screen or a particular region of it, with a minimal amount of effort.

The setup process does not take very long, seeing that the app is not going to offer you to make changes to your web browser or download third-party software.

The user interface of the program consists of a standard window, which is comprised by a menu bar and a few buttons. Extensive Help contents are provided online thus ensuring that all types of users can easily find their way around it, including those less experienced.

Screen Grab Pro enables you to grab the screen or a specified region with the help of two buttons or the assigned keyboard shortcuts. It is possible to save the results in a BMP, JPEG, ICO or PDF format, yet you can also view the current status of the tool.

You can copy the image to the Clipboard, view the last captured JPG or BMP picture in an editor, toggle between a 8-bit and 12-bit resolution, as well as set the capture timer (5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds, no timer).

In addition to that, you can choose the capture type (desktop window or current window), select the window of a currently opened application, as well as disable Screen Grab Pro from beeping when it is capturing an image.

The program uses a low amount of system resources and did not pop up any errors during our tests. Unfortunately, Screen Grab Pro automatically overwrites a file if you set the same name and output. You cannot configure capture options, resize the images, reassign hotkeys, and more.

All things considered, Screen Grab Pro is a decent tool for taking snapshots. However, it needs to incorporate more advanced functions since it includes the term "pro" in its title. Even so, the software is easy to use, even by beginners.
