WinCaptura is designed to help you take screenshots of your desktop and save them locally with just a few clicks, while also generating PDF and HTML documents that include all the images.

The goal of WinCaptura is to help you prepare a report or a project documentation much easier, using nothing more than a simple screen capturing application. Whether you want to create written tutorials or a report with images, this application can give you a helping hand.

It can capture as many screenshots as you want to include them in your documentation. A new snapshot is taken each time you press F5, so there is no time limit to arrange windows on the desktop, which means you can proceed to the next snapshot exactly when you are ready. As a drawback, the application can only capture the entire desktop, since there is no option to select a specific area or a window.

Once you are done with the screenshots, WinCaptura enables you to choose the output location and the type of files to generate. As mentioned before, it can create PDF and HTML documents, while also saving the images in JPG format.

It enables you to browse through all snapshots and assign each a custom title and a short description, which are automatically included in the HTML and PDF files. This way, you can describe what a picture is about and obtain a written explanation alongside the graphical representation.
