There's a lot that goes on when it comes to photo editing, and some users are more particular than others in their customization. While tools like Photoshop are well-renowned for a reason, some people don't need all of that functionality.

If the whole set of features offered in Adobe's solution doesn't appeal to you, stepping down to something simpler, but still very capable, wouldn't be a bad idea. PhotoFiltre might be a venue to consider if so: you have lots of ways in which you can manipulate your photos, while still making for a relatively straightforward experience.

Installing this program isn't anything out of the ordinary. Users can get started editing their photos right away after installation, though it may take a bit of time to get acclimated to the interface.

At first glance, the interface may seem rather busy, and it is a sort of departure from what you'd see in Photoshop. Editing your photo can be done via the icons at the top, whereby each of them changes a specific parameter of the image. For instance, you can adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, and other such properties right from the top bar, just by interacting with the icons.

Alternatively, you can modify the look of the image through the Adjust tab, which also contains options such as Gamma correct, Histogram, White Balance, Curves, and the like.

The Filter tab is there to complete your photos: alter their colors and overall look through the various visual and stylistic effects on offer. Introduce artificial fog into your image, or turn it into a colored pencil drawing or comics strip at the press of a button.

Batch image editing and automation features are stowed in the Tools section. In short, adding a source folder where your photos are stored allows you to adjust all of them at the same time, apply filters, and so forth, and the app will take care of the rest. It's very useful for when you want to edit multiple images similarly.

PhotoFiltre is a handy piece of software to handle your photo editing: it's got plenty of functions to facilitate thorough, efficient editing, and anyone can start making use of them right away.
