The tool features an easy and pro mode, depending on whether you just want to resize the picture or extend its functionality. The only way to add photos is by resorting to the drag-and-drop support, since there is no integrated file browser available.

Files are automatically processed when adding them to the window, which means that it's necessary to configure settings before this step. By default, rEASYze creates a new folder for each image resizing session, set the photos to a preset dimension, and opens a text document with log details.

The easy mode only gives you the possibility to control the new picture size. By switching to pro mode you can also choose a new file type (JPG, PNG, TIF, GIF, BMP), change the orientation, apply gray or sepia filter, use EXIF metadata (for JPG files only), as well as preview and rename the files.

rEASYze handled image processing jobs smoothly during our tests. It had no trouble running on Windows 10 and had minimal impact on the computer's performance.
