STP has been created with this purpose in mind and as a simple solution that can be used even by beginner users.

There is no need to go though an installation routine because the program can be launched by simply double-clicking the executable file after extracting the contents of the downloaded archive.

The program can get a PDF result out of any scanned piece of paper, which allows allows integration with other PDFs, thus skipping the conversion process. Suffice to have a scanner connected to the system and STP automatically detects it and initiates the necessary procedure.

However, if the resource has already been digitalized and it is available as an image, the application provides the possibility to load and convert it to PDF. The supported image formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP and WMF. Additional functionality allows rotating the file by 90 degrees to the left or to the right.

Loading up multiple images and saving them into a single PDF is also available in the list of options, as well as adjusting the JPEG quality; keep in mind that a better quality results in a larger output result.

There isn’t much tinkering to be done in STP. It comes with a basic but intuitive list of options that ensure smooth sailing even for beginners. System resource usage should not be a problem and the conversion process is fast.
