Some people are either very particular and fickle about their wallpapers, while others don't much care what image is on their desktop. For the latter group, the default wallpaper of the OS usually does the trick, and they're usually the least picky of users, even if they may change things around once in a while.
Some people are, however, more particular about their choices. Most of the time, it's about going for a certain mood that you want your desktop to convey, and that starts with the wallpaper. Through PUSH Video Wallpaper, you can now have videos act as your wallpaper: insert clips from your PC or from YouTube, so you can have them front-and-center on your desktop.
Customizing one's desktop is nothing new. Making a video your wallpaper typically comes with a resource-management caveat: it's only natural for a moving picture to consume more than a still one, after all. In that sense, the program can tax your system quite heavily: in our case, it used up to almost 30% of our 11th Gen Core i7 CPU, which is nothing to scoff at.
Irrespective of the resource cost, it's worth mentioning that the program is simple to navigate, and adding the videos you want is a worry-free process. Create a new playlist, and add your stuff in: you can insert any type of clips from your computer, or have the program fetch your favorite YouTube videos right to your desktop.
You can tweak the footage's playback speed, as well as adjust its quality. What's more, there's seemingly no video length limit, as the app allowed us to add clips that were more than 5-hours long. You can add as many videos as you want to your playlist, so you can ensure that you'll never run out of content for your desktop.
It's worth mentioning that there's a pop-up that will appear every 10 minutes or so, notifying you that this is a trial version. To some, this might be a deal-breaker, and understandably so.
If you want to spark things up a little, PUSH Video Wallpaper might just be the way to do so: if the resource hog isn't of importance to you, then you'll have a blast with this.
