Import Messages from MSG Format

Creating backups to your Outlook messages is always a smart thing to do, provided you want those back. Usually, Outlook emails can be exported as MSG files, which can later be imported back into the client. If you don't want to look for a third-party tool for importing MSG items, Import Messages from MSG Format — a simple and intrusive add-on — can help you with that.

The best way to go around this add-on is to install the Utility Manager. The manager offers a simple GUI that prompts you to select the backup folder, be that from a local or network location, and your Outlook profile's destination folder. Once ready, press run, and check the assigned folder within Outlook, as it should be populated, in real-time, with every item from the backup location.

At the end of the process, the manager is supposed to prompt you with a message containing the total number of processed folders and messages. If needed you can copy the information to the clipboard or save it as a text or image file.
