SpamCop Addin is an addin for Outlook that provides an interesting way to deal with spam, namely it forwards the unsolicited email including the mail headers to SpamCop.

Since this is an extension for Outlook, it goes without saying that you need to have the Microsoft email client installed on your computer. As far as the compatibility goes, the tool works with Microsoft Office Outlook 2010, 2013 and 2016, so if you have an older version, you may need to look for another antispam addin.

The addin acts as a reporting service for the IP addresses of the outgoing mail server and, after the linked sites are studied carefully, they are included in a blacklist. Unlike similar extension, the tool does not blacklist addresses immediately, but rather it identifies whether the reported emails based on the opinion of millions of email users across the globe. If you report a single address that may not be enough for the addin to mark it as spam.

It is worth mentioning that the SpamCop's address is saved by default and hence, you do not need to configure the app in order to use it. Then again, if you want to double check the emails marked as spam before they are reported, you can consider highlighting them from the Settings window.
