This way, even if the original file still shows the extension .txt, when unauthorized users open it, they will view just a warning message and the encrypted text. The original can be accessed only within Cypher Notepad, if you stored the key within it. Otherwise, you can import it from any location on your PC.

Since Cypher Notepad was designed to be used by users from all walks of life, it makes sense that its GUI is straightforward and intuitive. However, experts might want some control over the encryption algorithms used within the app, along with support for rich text formatting.
