If you're an avid gamer and like to keep your library as tidy as possible, you probably understand how this can be a bit difficult, given that nowadays there are several game library apps that offer you support for only certain games.
Fortunately, you can turn to GameRoom if you want to unify all the games that are installed on your computer into one large library and manage or access them from there.
This application was designed to help you manage all the installed games on your computer without significant efforts. Even though some titles might be installed through various game library managers, this app can detect them and imports them into its own library.
It provides you with support for popular game library managers such as Steam, Uplay, Origin and GOG Galaxy, but also enables you to organize games that are not necessarily launched through any of the apps mentioned above.
As stated before, you can add custom entries to your library, which you can customize as you wish by editing their corresponding fields from the dedicated menus. In order to add a new entry, you just need to press the "+" button on the main window, specify whether you're adding executables or entire folders and defining the destination paths.
Games can be sorted by name, rating, time played and release date and also grouped by genre, theme, series and launcher. Resizing the size of the thumbnails can be done by dragging the slider until you're satisfied with the result. If you don't like how a game's wallpaper looks, you can edit it by either loading another image from your PC or fetching one from IGDB.
GameRoom also provides you with a configuration menu where you can adjust some of the parameters. For instance, you can set the application to be launched at startup, configure shortcuts, select a folder that will constantly be scanned for new entries, choose the scan interval and manage ignored folders.
More so, you can select a default action that will be performed after a game starts, enable a "Gaming Power Mode" option and also set various GUI-related options from the dedicated menu.
To wrap it up, GameRoom is a handy application that can save you from the hassle of managing multiple game libraries by unifying them into a large one. It features support for Steam, Uplay, Origin and GOG Galaxy, but also enables you to add custom titles to the list.
