Prayer Times PC is a software program that provides users with a simple means of viewing the correct praying time according to their location, view important Islamic events and set up alarms.

The installation process does not bring any kind of surprises and it is over in a jiffy. Once you finalize it, you are met with a not very appealing, yet simple and well-structured interface. It consists of a few buttons, a menu bar and several tabs which ensure a quick access to all available options.

It is possible to select your city from a built-in list, so that you can easily identify the correct prayer timings. The latters are going to be displayed in the first tab, along with the current hour and date, and the possibility to play the Madina athan with just the click of a button.

The prayer timings can also be viewed and printed for any month of the current year, the Qibla compass can be accessed along with a list of the most important Islamic events of the year, while you can also view the English translation of the Salat.

A Gregorian-Hijri date converter is featured in this application, while you can also set up alarms for each prayer timing using a built-in audio track or a custom one from the hard drive, in a WAV or MP3 format.

To sum up, Prayer Times PC is a pretty useful and quite well-rounded piece of software. It is supported by almost all operating systems out there, it does not put a strain on the computer’s performance and our tests did not reveal any kind of crashes, errors or bugs. The interface is accessible to all user categories and the response time is quite good.
