Portable nrg2iso

As the name of this piece of software implies, Portable nrg2iso allows you to convert Nero Image files (NRG) into ISO-9660 items (ISO).

Since installing the tool is not necessary, you can simply save it on an external device (like a USB flash drive), store it on any computer and directly run its executable file. Thus, you can always have it with you when you're on the go.

The most important fact is that the Windows registry does not suffer any modifications. No leftover items can be found after program removal.

The interface of the program is based on a small, standard window where you can use only the file browser to import a Nero Image file for processing. Unfortunately, you cannot process more than one entry in a single session and the "drag and drop" functionality is not included.

You can check out the source path of the respective item. Once you have specified the output destination and filename, you can proceed with the conversion procedure.

The simplistic tool does not come with additional features. For example, you cannot configure any kind of program settings (e.g. set Portable nrg2iso to open the output directory or to exit after conversion). It runs on a low quantity of system resources and takes reasonable time to complete a task. No error dialogs have been displayed throughout our testing and Portable nrg2iso did not freeze or crash. However, the tool has not been updated for some time.
