VintaSoft Twain.NET SDK

VintaSoft Twain.NET SDK is a .NET library made available to software developers who want to implement the ability to scan documents and turn them into image files via TWAIN-compatible (versions 1.x/2.x) devices and .NET Framework.

The software development toolkit is completely written in C# and features support for x64, x86 and AnyCPU platforms. In addition to .NET, it's capable of scanning papers using WinForms, WPF as well as common web browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer or Opera. Images obtained from scanners can be saved to BMP, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PNG files or databases as well as uploaded to remote computers via HTTP, HTTPS or FTP.

It's possible to make pictures black and white, grayscale, halftone, palette or color, scan entire images or a specified region, use ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) to be able to scan multiple pages, set the preferred photo size, position, resolution, orientation, brightness and contrast, get extended information wherever this exists (page number, barcode etc.) as well as to skip blank pages, among others.

The downloaded package has demos for x86, x64 and AnyCPU, .NET 2 and 4, JavaScript, C# and VB.NET, including shortcuts to examples hosted straight on the developer's websites.
