Flexibility isn't the application's strongest point, with the set of features ending here. In case you have a text editor at hand, the only way to put generated values to good use is to manually copy them. It would have been useful to see at least a visual representation or a few more details. What's more, when changes are made, you need to hit the “calculate” button again, because automatic refresh is not implemented.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Xformer Designer is a simple and straightforward utility with the sole purpose of letting you know specific values needed to build an electrical transformer. It's not everyone's cup of tea, but engineers are sure to enjoy this little, portable utility.
