PowerPanel Business Edition consists of Agent and Slave. The agent provides a service to monitor status and configure the Battery Backup. It records the status of the Battery Backup and power events and generates actions in response to events.

Slave provides a service to establish the communication with Agent and generates actions according to the notification from Agent when a power event occurs.

The config and management can be done remotely via Web Browser or Network Management System. Also, the tool provides multiple alert notification options such as email, XMPP, Windows messenger, etc. as well as automatic events notification via SNMP Trap.
