Reboot Restore Rx

Reboot Restore Rx is a simple-to-use application that helps you restore your system to a previous state on reboot.

It does not contain complicated settings, making it ideal for all types of users, even the ones with limited or no previous experience in such software.

During the installation procedure, you can select one, multiple or all partitions to restore on system reboot, after viewing their file system, used, free and total space.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the default saving folder. A computer restart is necessary to complete the installation of the pre-OS.

The tool creates an icon in the system tray area and automatically enables the restore-on-reboot option for the next computer restart. It can be disabled, though. In order to create a new baseline for the restoration, it is necessary to retrace the steps in the installer. There are no other notable options provided by this program.

Reboot Restore Rx runs on a barely noticeable amount of CPU and RAM, so it does not affect the overall performance of the computer. Since it runs comfortably in the system tray area, it does not interrupt normal user activity either. No error dialogs were shown in our testing, and the tool did not hang or crash. We have not come across any issues throughout our evaluation.

Reboot Restore Rx delivers a very simple solution when it comes to restoring Windows to a previous state, one that can be handled by all types of users, regardless of their skill level.
