If you ever had to use the Add and Remove Programs option, then we do not need to tell you more about the message stating that some components could not be removed or worse, the uninstall has failed. To avoid the aforementioned along with other unpleasant situations, it is recommended that you employ a dedicated third-party uninstaller, such as UninstallView.

The app does not require setup, but rather you can start using it as soon as you download it to your computer. Upon launch, the utility scans your computer and provides you with a list of the basic programs installed. Depending on what you want to remove, you can preview additional entries in the GUI, such as the items without uninstalling string, entry or display name.

It is worth mentioning that the app provides you comprehensive data about the programs installed. Consequentially, you can find out the registry name, version, registry time, installed date, location, the uninstall string or any comments available, just to name a few.

You will be happy to learn that the utility enables you to preview the properties of the entry and find out more about the URLs associated, attributes or the registry key, for instance. Moreover, in case the registry name provided in the UI is not enough, you can quickly open the desired item in its dedicated section of RegEdit.

The application also permits you to remove multiple items at the same time, a useful option that can save you a lot of time. However, you should bear in mind that you need to activate this function from the Options menu first, as it is unchecked by default.
