Description

You have found the definitive solution for Outlook pst files! Not only you can convert the files to a format that is understood by your Mac. PST Bridge may also open your files and show all its contents in its own user interface. No conversion process required. It simply works.

PST Bridge will always show and export 10 items per folder. To remove this limitation, you may unlock it using In-App purchases.

VIEWER:

This feature is ideal for users that continue to use Outlook, but still want to have frequent access to their pst files on a Mac. Unlike other programs, the user does not need to be constantly exporting and importing. PST Bridge is able to read pst files directly. It then presents its contents on its own user interface. It can also interact with Apple Mail, in order to reply or forward messages from the pst file. The application also builds its own indexes to let the user search and find items almost instantly.

EXPORTER:

For users that want to migrate emails, contacts, appointments, tasks or notes from Outlook pst files, then the exporter wizard built into PST Bridge is the way to go:

* E-mails are exported as .mbox files, which can be easily imported with programs like Apple Mail or Entourage.
* Contacts are exported in the popular vCard format. The system’s Contacts application, Entourage and other programs can easily import these type of files.
* Calendar appointments are exported directly into the system’s Calendar application.
* Notes can be extracted in three different formats: simple text (txt), rich text (rtf) or as messages (mbox).
*Tasks can be exported directly into reminders.

not full function

This allows you to see a list of your messages, but if you actually want to open them you have to pay. You can’t use the free app.

Developer Response ,

The app implements that functionality through in-app purchases. This is to benefit the user, who can evaluate the application and make an informed decision before purchasing.

Excellent Application

I bought the full access license after the free version proved to work very good for me. I considered the free version as a way to test only, with its limited access I was able to see enough pst files properly processed to assess this is what I needed. After going for full functionality, the app had no issues on working on various pst files I had, on which various of them were quite old (dated from 2008 for example), not that this matters but I had some doubts at the time as they come from different versions of Outlook. It took some time (reasonable and fair) to read off the files and create links and views, I'm taking files about 2-3 GB in size that include a full year of information.
Once done, I had the views of all my Outlook emails as well as to access attachments. Next step was to import all to the mail app format, but that I haven't done yet as the view step allowed me to see the info, the attachments, print, download attachments, etc. Once you run the application, it creates its own links to the working files so next tie you run it, you can access them right away, otherwise, if you close the links, they will have to be re-created.
PST Bridge worked excellent for my case.

Outstanding APP!

For me, this app helps search and extract info from 15 years of very large archived PST files in a fast and extremely efficient manner. The free version is basically to try and see if the app does what you need before buying, which is very fair IMO. I bought full access and at approx $30 for what it does, it is a bargain for me. Just in exporting a list of almost 2000 contacts and managing their import across separate platforms, it is fast and effective. You can subscribe to other things and end up spending more, or choose a well behaved app like this and pay once.
