File & Folder Locker (USB Edition) is designed for those users who use more than one computer. File & Folder Locker (USB Edition) has been specialized so that you can use it storing in your pen drive/removable drive. It does not need any installation. Just -
1. Download the file FnFLocker_usb.zip
2. Unzip/Extract the zip file
3. Store the unzipped folder to your pen drive/removable disk
4. Now, open FnFLocker_usb.exe from your pen drive/removable disk, input the password and start using File & Folder Locker to provide security for your files, folders and drives (except cd/dvd roms).
The Default Password is : alemrantareq
You must change this default password for security reason. To change password -
1. Go to Tasks menu and click Change Password. Alternatively, press Alt + P from keyboard.
2. Type the current password & click Okay
3. Now, Type your new password in the two password fields & click Okay. That's it.
The maximum length of password is limited to 12 digits and it must be in alpha-numeric orders.
Notice: You should not try to use copy-paste method to input password, else your password will be unmasked.
Requirements :
- Only Microsoft Windows XP (any service pack).
- User account having all administrative privileges (i.e. Administrators account).
- Drives (i.e. hard/removable) should be in NTFS format.
