Touch is a simple utility to update the
different date and time stamps of a single file or of a group of files.
You may drag the files from the Explorer and drop them over the Touch
window, or select them in a standard dialog box or even indicate them
in the command line used to start Touch.
You might even install Touch in the SendTo
directory to have the opportunity to send files by using the Send
To entry of the context menu that opens when using the right
button in a folder or Explorer window.
It is possible to update any combination of the three times Windows
saves with each file: creation time, last-access time and modified
time. The new time stamp may be the current date and time, or any other
you may easily select.
