Description

Let TextSoap Menu bring style-awareness to your text transformations.

Keep Your Styled Text

Keep your bolded words, your italics, your headline fonts. No need to give up style text just because you want to change the case of some of your text.

Make it Plain

Of course, sometimes you don't want styles. Sometimes you just want (or need) to deal with plain text. TextSoap Menu has you covered there too. Use the 'Convert to Plain Text' menu option to strip off all the style information.

Works Right Inside Your Favorite Apps

TextSoap Menu works with text selected in your favorite applications, or just change the current contents of the clipboard text.

Bonus: Leverage TextSoap 7

If you have TextSoap 7 installed, TextSoap Menu can also tap into TextSoap's features. Get access to TextSoap cleaners to use in your favorite apps as well as hot key actions to apply cleaners or display custom popup menu of collection of your favorite cleaning options.

If you work with cleaning up text in any capacity you’ll love Text Soap. I seriously could not imagine life without it. If you thought Paste and Match Style was cool then you haven’t seen anything. Text Soap can do all kinds of reformatting, and if you leverage the standalone app (I think you have to get it direct from them) you can create custom filters. They even have a PopClip extension so you can access it right from any application you might be in.

Literally saves me hundreds of hours a year. Love this lil app!

Huh?

I just upgraded from Hi Sierra to Monterey and there is enough stuff that doesn't work right. Soap was one of my Go-To apps that I've used for years. I downloaded this version ("Get") and can't even find an installer, though it LOOKS like it's installed, since it appears in the menu bar. I've tried "cleaning" a batch of text but absolutely nothing happens. So what's the deal?
