I wrote a software few years back to write bangla easily with phonetic based layout. It was working good till now, though it had few issues with this new update i tried to resolve most of them.
Beside fixing the issue with this new update i embed the Unicode font with it, so now any computer without a bangla font can now write bangla with it. Read the full description here.
You can get it from here, no installation required just download and run. Only thing just make sure you have the jre 1.6.0_33 or later

Firstly, it is not installing anything on my system, rather trying to launch the application directly. And then throwing error (pop-up) message: “Unable to launch the application.”

yes it will launch directly after clicking the install button, just make sure you have the latest version of jre installed. Thank You
Hi Uzzal, amazing software indeed. A probable bug may be, how to write “ekar” before “rhikar” ? Some nice enhancements will be:
1. Once a file is saved in a location say C:/test/Test.bp, hence forth a Ctrl+S should save the same. For saving a new file “Save As” may be used. Now, everytime it opens a default location and user need to navigate to the actual saved path, which is irritating at times.
2. Ability to use rich text functionality like B,U,I, font color, background color in Bangla Pad.
3. Undo functionality with Ctrl + z, Redo with Ctrl + r.
Will like to know your views. Nevertheless, a very nice utility to have for Bengali writers. Your great work is highly appreciated !

Dear Uzzal, very nice work. It’s a nice fast useful utility. It’d be great if font size could be increased. Then this utility could be used to create bangla posters, notices, labels etc.

Great software but I am encountering some problems on the Mac. How to write words like tushta, koshto or posh to. Or Bromha? Cannot find a solution in the keyboard map.
