Description
iconStiX is a custom icon tool: combine images, add text, edit styles and attach your composition to desktop items (such as folder) or save as image.
More details: You can
- add and reorder multiple objects (image, shape and text).
- move, resize, rotate, skew, color, add shadow and effects (recess, shine, sketch).
- modify fonts and adjust text style.
- use your image as texture (e.g. cover a folder with a photo).
- erase or paint over image objects (retouch function).
- add small icon images separately for better visibility in the list view.
- limit the max icon size (512, 256 or 128) instead of the full size (1024).
- preview in different sizes (manual scaling or animation).
- keep favorite images for quick access.
- save your settings as documents (QuickLook compatible).
- export composition as images (icns, png, tiff).
- attach/remove custom icons via drop boxes or the Finder services.
Note: read/write permission is required to change custom icons.

· Contents of text objects can be edited in the preview area by double-clicking a selected text object (in addition to in the objects table as before).
· While text objects are selected but not edited, the contextual menu contains "add as image object" (as well as alignment, line-spacing and writing direction as before).

Best Folder Customizer!!
This app is the best folder customizer, I have never written a review on the app store but after downloading this app, I had too! I downloaded a bunch of apps trying to find one that would let me add my own icon as well as change the folder color. Most of them only gave you the option to add SF symbols and did not compare to the Image2icons application of symbols. This app not only lets you add your own icon but it gives you such a detailed application of imprinting it onto the folder icon, as well as changing the color of both the folder and the icon! I was a little skeptical at first considering the price and the low amount of reviews but trust me this app will change your life! Thank you for creating such an awesome, useful and creative app!!
Love it so much, I bought it twice
Such a great tool for making quick custom icons, without having to go through an expensive image editor. I originally bought direct from the developer several years ago, but it doesn't seem to have updating built-in, so I bought it again just now on the App Store for Family Sharing, to guarantee I have the latest version running, and to throw a few more bucks to Trollin. Thanks for such a great little app!!!

WOW! it rocks… and reads illustrator n photoshop files
Yes thats right you can drag a .png, Adobe illustrator file, jpeg, Adobe photoshop… I am an illustrator dealing with hundreds of illustrations in folders with relating versions ect. and being able to have a “mini version” on the folder icon is a HUGE time saver. I have been fantasying about an app that would do this!
So easy, if you can drag n drop you can use this!
