Folder Icon Changer 4+

First the bad news…You can't drag the icons around to change the order that they are in in your main window. This is such an elementary feature, that it was a major disappointment to encounter this. I hate having to hunt for the icon. Also after trying to change several icons, I kept getting an error message that it couldn't do it for some unknown reason to me: ("The variable error list is not defined -2753"). They also do not have that big of a selection of icon's in app. I went to a website to download most of mine, cause to be honest, their icon's are just not that great. Now the good news…The website that you CAN download from has over 300,000 icons, and this app gives you the link to the site, which to me makes up for most of this app's shortcomings. Also you can use your own photo's for your folder icon's (yea!), but these images unfortunately have a "stretched" look (boo!). All in all, it's a good app with some key features missing. Mainly the need for more icon's in app, and being able to organize all your icon's. However don't let this review deter you from purchasing, cause it is definitely worth the purchase price. Hate having to stare at all the lifeless blue folders and files lol.

I give it five stars! Very easy to use,very good for people with poor vision, when you have many folders you can use a picture that shows what is inside,and go quickly to the one you need. There are icons you find on google for almost any topic, that you add to the nice ones provided by the app. It is very simple to do and really brightens up your files. and you can change colors or pictures very quickly if you wish. Lots of fun, and sure helps me see better.

Brand new mac user and I was able to figure this out in less than 2 mins! So you know it's easy to use. As I don't like seeing all the same blue folders I needed something like this. Definitely worth buying.
